Biomedical imaging plays a critical role in biology and medicine, from basic research to diagnostics and treatment. Biomedical computing combines the diagnostic and investigative aspects of biology and medical science with the power and problem-solving capabilities of modern computing, such as image processing, machine learning, deep learning, pattern recognition.
This special session aims at exploring the new methods and technologies for biomedical imaging and analysis. These methods and technologies are expected to be used in the assisted diagnosis. This will reduce the work burden of doctors and improve the diagnostic efficiency.
1. Imaging-related clinical studies and applications
2. Multi-modal data fusion for assisted diagnosis
3. Biomedical image analysis
4. Biomarker discovery
5. Image formation and reconstruction
6. Transformer-related models in medical imaging
7. Transfer learning in medical imaging
8. Image synthesis and augmentation
9. AI-for-human in medical imaging
10. Unsupervised and semi-supervised learning in medicine
