BIBE 2024 Submission Guidelines

BIBE2024 is soliciting original submissions on a wide range of biological information and biomedical engineering, all full paper contributions will be peer reviewed by at least 2-3 independent reviewers based on research novelty, technical excellence, or unique applications in the real world.

Types of Submissions

During the submission process, make sure to select one type of submissions from the following 2 options.

Submission Type Description and Details
Full paper submission
  • Full paper submissions should be prepared in English (DOC) and formatted according to the formatting instructions in the paper template.
  • Primary screening and peer review will be made. Peer-reviewed accepted and registered papers will be published in conference proceedings.
  • For each accepted paper, at least one author must attend the conference and present the paper. Authors of all accepted papers must prepare a final version for publication, a poster presentation or a short video/live oral presentation.
Abstract submission
  • Abstract submissions should be prepared in English (DOC or PDF), including Title, Authors, Affiliation(s), Abstract and Keywords.
  • Once approved by the conference committee, the extended abstract can be presented at the conference, but NOT published in proceedings.

Submission Methods and Workflow

All new manuscripts to BIBE2024 could be submitted directly via Online Submission System. The whole review process may take about 1 month, including first-round comments, authors' modification, further comments and acceptance.

  • Submission Acknowledgement
    After you submit the manuscript, the editor will send an e-mail confirmation within 1~2 working days. If you fail to receive the confirmation, please check your bulk email box or contact the editorial assistant by email: secretary@icbibe.org.
  • Pre-review
    The editor will pre-review the manuscript to ensure it is within the conference theme, any manuscripts out of the conference's scope or containing plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, will be rejected.
  • Double-blind Peer Review
    We adopt a double-blind peer review system, all full paper contributions will be peer reviewed by at least 2-3 independent reviewers based on research novelty, technical excellence, or unique applications in the real world.
  • Review results
    The editors will refer to all review comments to decide whether to revise, accept or return the manuscript, and will notify the authors of the review results by e-mail.
  • Registration
    After the manuscript has been accepted, authors are required to submit the final manuscript and complete the registration payment.
  • Final Manuscript Proofreading
    Final manuscript will be sent to all registered authors for proofreading through email. Once the final manuscript is proofed and confirmed, no more changes are allowed. If authors fail to check and reply the proofreading emails within the required period, the Editors reserve the right to edit or make necessary changes on the manuscripts.
  • Publication Notice
    After the proceedings published, we will notify the authors by email with one E-copy of the conference proceeding.
